However, there are limitations. The AI often generates generic or overly verbose responses, especially for creative writing, and I find myself editing heavily. It also lacks deep customization—you can't train it on your own data or style, so it feels like a one-size-fits-all assistant. The pricing is a major con: it's an add-on that costs $10 per member per month on top of the regular Notion plan, which can add up quickly for teams. Additionally, it's heavily dependent on a good internet connection, and response times can lag during peak hours. For quick tasks like rewriting a sentence or generating a summary, it's invaluable. But for complex, high-stakes writing, I still prefer manual effort or specialized tools. Overall, Notion AI is a solid productivity booster for teams already invested in the Notion ecosystem, but it's not a replacement for human creativity or dedicated AI writing tools.
